A Word a Week Challenge: Weather

Sue couldn’t have chosen a better time to propose us Weather as her ‘A word a week‘ challenge. As you might know, we’ve experienced some – British people would say ‘plenty of’ – snow last weekend! For me is not big deal since where I come from – the Dolomites – it usually starts snowing by the end of October and stops in April, but anyway, London looks different covered by this white blanket! I was on a bus yesterday going through North London, and even parts of town that usually look dirty & ugly looked pretty and romantic!

The above pic was taken the morning after the actual precipitation, the following pics were taken while it was still snowing :)  DSC00260 DSC00254

Are you already starting to miss the summer heat? I’m not, not yet. I love snow… I hate my hands freezing in the morning but I guess it comes with it!

For now, when I’m too cold I look through some summer pics and feel warmed up! Does it work for you?

But weather doesn’t mean only snow or sun, does it? It also means…

…wind…

..and rain, a lot of rain!
